A code of ethics for theatre workers from 1945

I found this neat little article about a code of ethics written for theatre workers in 1945, most of the ideas are still relevant today!

  1. Thanks Sandy, this is a great article. On my last job there were comments about certain people being more "old school" than others in their approach to work. For me, this sum of rules does some that up. Yes, everybody in the cast was very dedicated...but there were certain principles that some lived by the book and others were more flexible on. I don't know which is right or wrong. However, it is almost humbling to know that this all-being almost sacrifice of the rest of your life- which we often have to assume now- goes right back to 1945, and probably even before that!
